I am a psychotherapist, licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) by the State of California. The MFT license is recognized nationally.
In my practice I do individual and couples therapy, specializing in three areas: relationships, arts and entertainment, and addictions recovery.
I have extensive experience helping people recover from “love addiction,” and avoidance of intimacy.

As a published author, I have offered many lectures and workshops, and written articles on a variety of topics.
Prior to opening my practice I was a Family Therapist in both outpatient and inpatient substance abuse rehabilitation facilities in Los Angeles, California.
I studied at the University of California, Berkeley, and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from The University of California, San Diego. I received my Master’s Degree in Psychology from Notre Dame de Namur University, California.
I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and The American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
I have been a working artist throughout my life, and have had numerous exhibitions of my paintings and photographs.
